SCHOOL COUNCIL
"You must be the change you wish to see in the world." Mahatma Gandhi
Mahatma Gandhi was an Indian lawyer, anti-colonial nationalist, and political ethicist.
Our school council is a group of children that represents the views of all our pupils. It gives our children the opportunity to have their voices heard and be part of the whole school community. The school council helps to makes decisions about school life and organise projects that support learning and development, such as organising charity events, theme days or representing the school at outside events.

FUNDRAISING IDEAS
The school council met to discuss how we can raise the money we need to put all our fantastic playground development ideas into action!
The children were fantastic at working collaboratively to think of fun and exciting ways to raise funds. Their ideas included a toy sale, a Santa dash, a tuck shop and even an in-school movie night!
What will we do to help our school?
PLAYGROUND DESIGN IDEAS
The school council did a fantastic job of canvassing their peers to find out what they want to see in our playground!
The children are playing a vital part in our redevelopment plans and all of their creative ideas have been shared with the Headteacher.
